Bernard “Bernie” Weiss - Chief Morale Officer
Bernie was recruited from One of A Kind pet rescue for his exceptional personality and happy-go-lucky demeanor by Attorney Weiss. He assists staff in research and belly-rub activities. He can frequently be found in the office begging for snacks and head scratches, and has somehow convinced multiple staff members to keep dog beds in their office for him. His favorite toy is “squeaky ball.”

Shadow Reyes – Intern (Remote)
Shadow is a three-year-old lab terrier mix rescued by the Reyes family from the Cleveland APL. Shadow spends her time barking at noises no one else can hear, making sure no one is within one-thousand yards of her house, and trying to get her humans to pick her up. She is not a fan of car rides and doesn’t see the need for them. Shadow is a remote intern as she doesn’t like people and going to the office requires car rides.
-
Connie Reyes - Intern
Connie is a two-year old Cockapoo who enjoys blingy collars, being chased around the house by her humans, laying on pillows that don’t belong to her and then later shoving them off the couch while having a temper tantrum. She also really likes car rides. She thinks she should go everywhere with her humans. Connie is an N.P. Weiss Law intern. However, she rarely comes into the office as she doesn’t particularly care about the law, but thinks she should be doing something with her life.

Kilian Kuhn– Attorney at Paw
Kilian was adopted in May of 2020 after being found as a stray kitten in a junk yard, and now enjoys living a life of luxury as a spoiled indoor cat. A typical Torbie, she is rather persnickety and does things on her own terms. She can usually be found napping or arguing with the squirrels outside her favorite window. Sometimes she will boss around her brothers, Tango and ChaCha, but she mostly finds them annoying.
-
Tango Kuhn– Purralegal
Tango was rescued from an abandoned house as a kitten in August 2022, and has been his cat mom’s dedicated sidekick and Purralegal ever since. He loves typing on the keyboard, lounging across open books or papers, regularly bombs video conferences, and supervises whatever his humans are doing. He frequently takes a break from work to make biscuits or wrestle with his brother. He also enjoys Amazon boxes and his mini pool table.
-
ChaCha Kuhn– Paw Clerk
ChaCha was adopted from Lucky Paws Animal Rescue as a tiny kitten in August 2023, and just keeps growing, and growing, and growing. He loves to make sure his humans are up bright and early, and that meals are served on time. His greatest skill is his ability to play fetch with toy mousies, and he is also adept at stealing pens or other small office items. When he’s not working (which is most of the time), he loves to harass his sister Kilian or get into shenanigans with his brother, Tango.

Jax Yuncker - Paw-ralegal
Jax is a fearless Chihuahua with a heart as big as his bark. As the loyal companion and paw-tner of a hardworking paralegal, he brings joy and playfulness to his owner's busy life. Jax proves that even in the fast-paced world of law, there's always time for a little tail wagging and puppy love.

Tango May - Cat-torney at Law
My mom adopted me from the Cleveland APL six years ago – I was only seven weeks old. Since then, I have spent my time getting fat, chasing the mouse that thinks my mom’s kitchen is its bedroom, and occasionally catching (but not eating) said mouse. I also like to beat up on my little sister, Samba. I’m pretty much useless, but I make my mom smile.
-
Samba May - Clawsuit Specialist
I showed up in my mom’s backyard three weeks after she adopted my brother Tango. I was six weeks old and near death. Mom rescued me and nursed me back to health, and now I spend my days sleeping on her pillow and antagonizing my brother. (What are little sisters for?) Like my brother, I’m essentially useless, but mom loves us, and we make her happy.
